About Us

Dr. Dana Welle
Dana is one of the most sought after female physicians on the Central Coast, where she has practiced Obstetrics & Gynecology and aesthetics for more than eight years. She is a fellow with the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the American College of Surgery, and practices OB/GYN with the Women’s Medical Group in Santa Cruz. She graduated from UCLA and attended medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. There she obtained her medical degree in Gynecology/Obstetrics. Dr. Welle has a genuine interest in overall womens’ health and provides personal attention to each of her patients – a strong factor in how she has become a leader in women’s care.


Mary Codiga RN
Mary has a degree in business from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in addition to a Registered Nursing Degree from Cabrillo College. She worked in the oncology department of Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz before becoming active in the field of aesthetics. She co-founded a local laser and aesthetics practice prior to establishing Carmel Laser Aesthetics with Dr. Welle. Mary’s philosophy is to provide unsurpassed quality, consistency and individualized care while sharing her passion for the aesthetic field with her patients.
